Yoga & Singing Bowl School Experience

Every word holds many layers of meaning—literal, symbolic, spiritual, physical, and even scientific. Each layer brings its own value and influence. The deeper we explore a word, the deeper it reveals itself to us. That’s why it’s said: “Knowledge without practice is like poison.” Only when we move beyond knowing—when we believe, practice, experience, and ultimately become enlightened—do we begin to truly feel the strength and light of a word. Words are not just for speaking—they are tools of transformation. When arranged with awareness, they form mantras—sentences charged with energy and meaning. This understanding is what led us to choose the word AUMLAYA as the name for our Yoga and Singing Bowl School. The Meaning of AUM AUM is not just a sound—it is creation itself. Visualized as a triangle, A, U, and M sit at its three points—constantly creating, sustaining, and dissolving all that exists. Within this triangle, all of life happens—every action and reaction, conscious or unconscious, plays out within its sacred geometry. The moment we become aware of this pattern and begin to understand it, we stop resisting life. We begin to flow with it. We float with the rhythm of the universe—and ultimately arrive at Maun, the silence, the peace within. AUM: The Trinity Within A stands for God (the source), U for Guru (the guide), M for Myself (the seeker). When these three aspects unite, they dissolve into Laya—the merging, the union, the surrender. In this sacred unity, we return to the pure vibration of AUM, or OM. On a deeper level: M is Drashta – the one who sees, U is Drishya – that which is seen, A is Darshan – the act of seeing, or philosophy. Meditation and Oneness Meditation is the journey of dissolving the duality of M (self) and U (teacher) until only A remains—the divine, the source. In this state, all division ends. We become light. We don’t just see wisdom—we are wisdom. We don’t just seek peace—we become peace.
